About Us
Meet the Owner - Cory Puhl
Hunched over his workbench in his garage woodshop in Arizona, self-taught luthier, Cory Puhl, started out repairing guitars and building kit guitars for loved ones. Though this was fun for a while, his craving to begin building completely custom guitars became too strong. He began constructing his first "from scratch" guitar and completed it after about 3 months. Falling in love with the craft, he decided to share his creations with others, leading to him starting Glasspuhl Guitars, LLC in 2023.
The Story of Puhlnir
Dubbed "Puhlnir", Glasspuhl's first guitar, was a Thinline T-Styled electric with exceptional tone and playability. Built in Cory's humble garage woodshop, Puhlnir was the "proof of concept" guitar. He wanted to make a guitar that sounded and played as good as it looked. Donned with Norse rune inlays and exceptionally beautiful woods, the "looks" are there, and we are happy to report that the sound and playability are there too!
